Sanctum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaHub of the Haven government. Sentinels, justicars and blackguard train and are housed here. The council meets here. Those living in this area are primarily government workers. Some small gardens were planted to break up the government buildings, but the main attraction in Sanctum is still the library, the largest in Haven.
Surrounding and connecting Haven neighborhoods [edit] Sanctum is bordered by Lupeni and Midtown to the south, though it is separated by these neighborhoods by a wall. A bridge connecting it to the Lantern District allows access to Sanctum. In the event of an emergency, residents and officials within Sanctum have access to a secret way out of the city, though the specifics of this are strictly guarded.
Places of Interest [edit] The Haven Athenaeum [edit]
A sprawling and expansive collection of books has been compiled at the Haven Athenaeum. Though scribes and scholars frequent the library, the wide variety of books on hand, from scientific anthologies and tomes on magic to topside fiction, draw people from all over Haven.
The Ghastly Lamp [edit]
Despite the owner’s best attempts, this establishment is considered the premiere tavern in Sanctum. Frequented by government workers, military and police, the owner is quick to grumble about his loyal customers, but even quicker to defend them if strangers wander in looking for trouble.
Sanctorum [edit]
The meeting place of the council. It is considered the most guarded room in all of Haven, and its exact location is only disclosed to active council members.
